World of Sea Battle System Requirements: Can Your PC Run It?
The current Steam page lists a relatively accessible minimum configuration, but minimum specs are not a promise of smooth performance in every battle or future build.
Steam PC requirements (current store table)
| Component | Minimum | Recommended | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Operating system | 64-bit Windows 8 or later | 64-bit Windows 10 or later | Steam separately notes its Windows client requires Windows 10 or later; factor in the launcher, not only the game row. |
| Processor | Intel Core i5-4570 3.2 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 B60 3.3 GHz | Intel Core i7-3770 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-9370 4.4 GHz | Compare the exact model and generation; a clock speed alone is not enough to infer equivalence. |
| Memory | 2 GB RAM | 4 GB RAM | Leave room for Windows and background applications. |
| Graphics | GeForce GTX 460 1 GB or Radeon HD 6850 1 GB; Shader Model 5 | GeForce GTX 660 2 GB or Radeon HD 7850 2 GB | Use the exact card and graphics API support; these entries are not an FPS benchmark. |
| DirectX / storage | DirectX 9.0c / 2 GB available | DirectX 11 / 4 GB available | Allow additional free disk space for updates and the launcher. |
| Network | Broadband internet connection | This is an online MMO; the listing does not publish a latency guarantee. | |
Two install routes publish different requirements
The Steam table above is the relevant reference for the Steam build. The official direct-download page publishes a separate, much lighter requirement summary (including 500 MB storage and Linux through PortProton/WineHQ). Do not combine those lines into one universal spec or treat the compatibility-layer note as native Linux support.
Can your PC run it?
- Below any listed minimum: the publisher does not establish that the game will run acceptably.
- At the minimum: you meet the published baseline, not a promised frame rate or stable experience in every battle.
- At recommended: you meet the higher listed target; it still is not an FPS guarantee.
Before you download
- Confirm Windows is 64-bit and check the Steam-client Windows 10 note if using Steam.
- Match your CPU and GPU model—not just “i5” or “GTX”—to the table.
- Check DirectX support and driver condition.
- Keep additional storage headroom and a stable broadband connection.
- Recheck the official store table after a major update.
