Use discovery as a checklist
When a region or activity appears in the current game, record what the Logbook shows and distinguish an observed discovery from a reward claim. That keeps a route useful even when the collection surface changes.
Points of Interest give exploration a discovery layer. This guide explains how regional POIs, the Logbook and collections fit together while keeping locations and rewards tied to dated source checks.
| Question | Source-based guidance |
|---|---|
| What is a POI? | Current official updates describe regional Points of Interest as discoverable objects or activities inside the World of Sea Battle world. |
| Where is progress recorded? | The Logbook provides a current collection and discovery context; check the live client for the exact category and completion presentation. |
| What do collections do? | Collections connect discoveries to a reward surface documented by current updates, but the reward set is not a permanent promise. |
| What changes? | Locations, categories, rewards and collection rules can change with updates, so use a dated check before relying on a route. |

When a region or activity appears in the current game, record what the Logbook shows and distinguish an observed discovery from a reward claim. That keeps a route useful even when the collection surface changes.
For the wider world format, read the open-world guide. For first-session orientation, use the beginner guide; this page is not an exhaustive POI database.
Start by identifying the object or activity in the region you are currently exploring. Note its name, broad area and what the client shows when you interact with it. Then open the Logbook and check whether the discovery appears under a category, collection or another progress surface. This creates a useful record without pretending that a community map is a permanent source of truth.
Keep three questions separate: did you discover the POI, did the Logbook record progress, and did the current collection surface show a reward or completion result? A discovery entry is evidence of progress, not proof of a fixed reward. If a category or location is missing, check the current client and official update wording before assuming that the POI was removed or that a reward is guaranteed.
Use the official B19 and B20 update context to understand the feature shape, then treat locations, categories, collection rules and rewards as update-sensitive. A dated note is more useful than a permanent list because regions and presentation can change. Record the build or update date beside any personal route notes and revisit them after a content patch.
This guide covers discovery objects, Logbook recording and collections. The open-world guide explains the broader world format; the beginner guide covers first-session orientation. Factions, trading and ship-building answer different questions. Keeping those boundaries visible lets a reader use a POI checklist without turning it into an unsupported map, count or reward table.
